I am the founder and executive director of the San Francisco CATS Academy an nonproft grassroots organization that is deadicated to the perservations of urban talent, art & culture and scholarship programming in the inner cities and disfranchised communitities.

In addition, I am currently a member of the San Francisco Human Rights Commission African American Reparations Task Force Advisory Committee, and I have been an advocate and community organzier for now over 29 years.    

I'm a native of San Francisco where I have now
​lived for 53 years and I ran for the District 5 Supervisorial r
ace in 2020.  I have worked with numberous grassroots nonprofit organizations toward the improvement of quality of life for all San Franciscans. 



MY PRIORITIES

-  Controlling & balancing the fiscal budget.

-  Supporting teachers' and students' needs.

​-  Ensuring City College keeps its accreditation.

-  Free City College for all San Franciscans.

​-  Focus on increasing student enrollment.

-  Supporting homeless undocumented students
   and closing the achievement gap of African-   
​   American and Latino students.

Some of my past experiences includes crafting Proposition F initiative in 2008 for 50 % affordable housing development in Bayview/Hunter Point in D-10. I also was a member of the Restoration Advisory Board RAB to the US Navy BV/HP shipyard in 2008.

​Also in 2007 I was the lead coordinator for the San Francisco Fire Department's NERT the Neighbor- hood Emergency Responses Team, and, in 2006 I was a member of the Citywide Community Policing Relations Board.

​And lastly in 2016 I served as a member for the Justice 4 Mario Woods Coalition, and a member with the for the SF Planning Department's African American Historic Context Statement Task Force.
